Anchors Series - Naming [5]
Solving persistent issues in our life is the prelude to anchoring ourselves fully into our body temple. When we are anchored we are fully present. Being fully present means we are aware of the physical world and the subtle worlds, and thus can navigate around what is presenting. Anchoring and being fully present go hand in hand.
To be fully anchored is to have cleared most if not all past constrictions, such that we deal more easily with everything that comes our way. One of the most useful practices to clear the constrictions in our lives is to name what is occurring. When we name something we gain clarity which leads to devising solutions. Actions thereafter, place you in the directors chair, reversing the state of play from being acted upon, to acting deliberately. The objective as stated is to be fully present to the present.
Looking to my own life which is the basis for all of my writings, I place naming as paramount to being able to break free of that which hinders your being. Naming what I was experiencing was a major turning point in my life. At that time I felt the situation I was dealing with was inexplicable. Given this, all I could do was to focus on heal ing myself which I have been doing for many years. It's been as though I was clearing all the ails of humanity.
The concept of naming came to me by chance when I was explaining a particular situation to a family member. — a very rare occurance which demonstrates that at that partiuclar time I was at my wits end. He 'named' the behaviours of his brother as narcissistic. This was a pivotal moment in my life. It gave me access to a depth of understanding that made my situation comprehendible.
You can explore the naming process by simply asking questions. Questions are powerful tools. The better the question the more insightful the response. Key also is to be aware that you may eventually be asking yourself questions that are outside your present view of reality — given the times we are living through.
Mind maps are useful for recording your questions and answers. In this way you can connect your questions and responses by subsequently using colour to identify your particular themes. When asking questions the phrase 'what if' abc is related to xyz, can be useful. The idea is to explore your question from a multitude of perspectives. Ponder on your findings. Then come back to your mind map a week later and see what is revealed to you from the distance of time. Enact what you can. This is a repeating process. You will come to a point whereby you can say to yourself 'I've done all I can'. That's when you either accept 'what is' or where there is one particular part of the puzzle that remains inexplicable then one needs to look at other realms as to outside interference.
You can and will discover the answers to the questions posed if you have a will to overcome what is presenting. The physical world is but a fraction of our existence. Once you have worked through the issues in the physical realm, and you still do not have an answer to the inexplicable, then it may be that you need to ask the question — *Are you being stopped?
